The conference hotel was famous for having hosted Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis junior – hence the theme for the Welcome Night – ‘Rat Pack’. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rat_Pack).
Library & Learning people never miss a chance to think outside the box though. So kudos to Jimmy and Casey for subverting the dominant paradigm.
PS. It was a great conference and venue (even with the rats!).
