
This beautiful arch is still standing firmly on the grounds of the Vaucluse House (Vaucluse’ means ‘a closed valley’) which is a 19th-century estate, now a museum under the Historic Houses Trust. Located not far from Sydney Harbour frontage, the Vaucluse House still retains the core of its original picturesque estate, especially its 19th-century gardens.
